Remembering Dan Campbell
And the Early History of Campbell’s Resort

A 1981  interview with Dan Campbell by  KOZI’s Scott Brundage.

Dan not only shares the history of the Resort, but the family history including his own military experience during WWII, where he was a pilot in the Army Air Corp.
Dan is shown with his brother Arthur, in this 1976 photo taken of the two during Campbell Resort’s 75th Anniversary Celebration. Dan is unmistakable with his signature vest and holding an un-lit cigar in his right hand.  Interviewing Dan is KOZI Radio’s legendary historian Scott Brundage.  This interview was done in March of 1981, during the stations “Month of Heritage” – many of which were recorded in front of a live audience at the Crockery Restaurant on Emerson Street.
